Rude customers are everywhere and if you own a store you’re probably sick of them, though you can’t do anything about it. But CUPS Coffee & Tea’s barista, Austin Simms, came up with a brilliant idea how to overpower rude customers.
Austin wants to teach impolite customers some manners and put up a sign showing that bad manners pays a lot.
This is what the sign says:
The sign is simple every courtesy you do means a discount, the less rude you are the better.
It’s understandable that we have busy schedules but we don’t need to fall short of politeness when ordering a morning cup. The sign reminds us that the person serving us is in fact another human being.
“I decided because I need to solve all the injustices of the world to start charging more for people who didn’t take the time to say hello and connect and realize we’re all people behind the counter,” Austin said.
However, Austin didn’t expect that the sign he made will go viral on the internet and news camera will swarm his store.
