Heart-breaking moment of a little boy getting rescued from sewer after being trapped for more than 24 hours.

Jeanpier Silvera Arteta, 3, from Barranquilla, Colombia was reported missing a day earlier by his family after he disappeared while playing with his two brothers.
According to reports, the three boys had been messing around in a sand-filled construction site and believed the boy fell into the drainage without his siblings noticing.
Rescue teams immediately made an intense search on the missing lad area around the Sourdis neighborhood, including the sewers but were unlucky.
Then on the second try checking the sewer, they found him in one of the sweeps of the area clutching hold a pipe for dear life as heavy currents could sweep him deep down the drain.
The rescuer climbs down the sewer and pulled the child out of the filthy water.
Jeanpier was rushed to a nearby hospital where he is said to be on recovery after his ordeal.

Rescuer Herson Montenegro said: ‘It was an intense search. Thank God we found the boy in one of the sweeps of the area.
‘We had already searched the sewers the first time and we hadn’t found him. Thank God the second time we searched, the boy was there. He was close to being swept into a hole in the sewer.’
