Most of us probably imagine that the Taj Mahal is surrounded by fresh gardens, Niagara Falls might be encircled by a beautiful national forest, or the Stonehenge is placed in endless fields with no concrete roads in it, but that’s not what it really seems to be.

These majestic landmarks look more beautiful through a great perspective, it’s all about angles. In addition to it, framing and lighting are important as well. A change of perspective can change a lot, like what you will see in the following photos below.

Some of these photos also show just how misleading photography can be. Just like the pile of garbage dumps behind the Taj Mahal which really shocked me, just because it is taken from a different angle it’s true surrounding is revealed. Here are 13 Famous Landmarks Zoomed Out that will make you say “wow!” or either “aawww!”.

One’s perspective can either enhance or reduce the landmarks’ grandeur. The Acropolis, Arc de Triomphe and New York City’s Central Park all look even better on their zoomed-out photos. The Acropolis and The Arc de Triomphe that serve to be the focal points of their cities are truly great, The Niagara Falls, Sagrada Familia, The Forbidden City, and the Central Park even surrounded with those tall buildings still looks fascinatingly great.
