Lions are known to be ferocious creatures, the king of the jungle as we all know. Somehow, despite being a deadly predator, these huge cats have shown us many times that they are also capable of displaying affections.

This adorable affection was best shown when an animal trainer reunited with the lion he took care of after it was rescued from a grave situation.

Adolpho helped rehabilitate Kiara, an African lion, and when the two reunited after a long time something magical happens.

The moment the two met, the wild beast acted like an overgrown house cat. Just look how adorable they are.

Lions show affection too, I must say.

“You can tell from the beginning that the lion is showing affection. That was a happy greeting. Those of you claiming humans are anthropomorphising the lion are only making your lack of knowledge about lions known. Based on the initial interaction you can see that they have interacted before, and that the lion considers the man a pack member and was happy to see him. Lions bite each other playfully all the time. Time and time again we’re proved wrong about animals being mindless instinct driven robots, yet people still overlook the fact that they’re a little more complex.” a user named Hugh Mungus commented.

This scene only proves that there are more about lions than being a ferocious animal. They can also show affection and have a sense of gratitude, especially to those who helped them.
